How to Use This Theme

- Faith. Our Christian history is full of anonymous heroes who, like the rescue workers at the 9/11 disaster, worked tirelessly and suffered greatly in service to others, and to God. (Heb 11:35-39)
- Hope. Death is a part of life. However, hope comes when we accept that Jesus’ resurrection is our heroic act of sacrifice that conquers death. (1 Cor 15)
- Pain. When bad things happen, it is not that judgment from a wrathful God; it is a reminder that we all die, but God wants us to have eternal life through the resurrection. (Luke 13:1-9)
- Rebuilding. When disaster strikes in our lives, we must act like the heroes and immediately begin the task of rebuilding ourselves and those around us, physically and emotionally. (Neh 2:17-18)
