How to Use This Theme
-Â Doubt. From Gideon’s sheep fleece to the numerous Gospel stories, the Bible is full of characters that want confirmation for their belief. Faith comes before miracles, not the other way around. (Judges 6:36-37)
-Â Direction. Like a traveler who comes to a fork in the road, we must often make spiritual decisions. In these times, do we blindly choose a path, or do we stop and read the signs God has placed for us? (Jeremiah 6:16)
-Â Faith. When God calls us to a new place, we must be willing to go like Abraham leaving Ur, even if our destination and means are unknown. (Hebrews 11:8-10)
-Â Mission. God calls each of us in our own unique ways, and gives us the strength and power to do whatever mission we are given. The only necessary step we have to take is to be willing to wait for the sign to get us in the right lane–the Holy Spirit will do the rest. (Jonah 1-4)
