How to Use This Theme
-Â Provision. Crossing dangerous waters requires us to take one step at a time. God provides us with the stepping-stones we need to make the journey. (Matthew 6:11)
-Â Redemption. By allowing ourselves to be washed in the living water, we are transformed from dangerous rocks to smooth stones. (Mark 5:1-20)
-Â Righteousness. Like the long period of time in which a river rock is shaped and formed by its exposure to the rushing waters, so is our spirit gradually made more holy by its exposure to the grace and love of God in -Â Jesus Christ. (Gal 3:1-5)
Temptation. The potential to crash and burn is everywhere in our life’s river. The only way to navigate these obstacles is through faith in the power of Jesus Christ to overcome our fears. (Mark 4:35-41)
