How to Use This Theme

– Forgiveness. Everyone needs a do-over, an opportunity to wipe clean the slate of his or her life with its variety of scuffs and flaws. (Acts 2:38)
– Grace. As Paul so eloquently states in Romans 7:14-8:4, sin that lives in us weakens the power of the Law and prevents us from doing good. It is only through the power of the resurrected Christ that we can wipe clean our slate.
– Grace. When faced with moral failure, the redeeming image of Jesus’ grace becomes visible. Where are sin is great, God’s grace is greater, wiping the slate of our sins clean. (Romans 5: 20)
– Repentance. When we turn from sin and accept Jesus we wipe clean our slates and prepare to become holy sketches as reflections of God in us. (Romans 12)
