How to Use This Theme
-Â Devotion. There is no shortcut when it comes to the hard work of becoming a disciple. (Psalm 119:33-40, 105-112)
-Â Discipleship. Like the rich young ruler in the biblical story, we often just want the short version. Jesus reminds us that there are no cliff notes for discipleship. (Matt 19:13-22)
-Â Law. Jesus sums up the whole of the Law and the prophets with one simple law-Love God, love one another. This is the cliff notes version of the Bible: Love over law. (Matt 22:34-40)
-Â Love. Paul’s shorthand for being a Christian says, “Faith, hope and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:13)
