How to Use This Theme
-Â Church. Jesus is the head of the body of Christ, which though composed of many parts is one body. (1 Corinthians 12:12-31)
-Â Sanctification. In waiting for Christ to come- into our lives, into the world- we need to keep ourselves totally and completely made holy and complete–in body, mind and spirit. (1 Thessalonians 5:23-24)4)
-Â Law. Jesus sums up the whole of the Law and the prophets by quoting Deut. 6:5 and Lev. 19:18– Love God and love your neighbor. Rather than worrying about what we shouldn’t do, Jesus encourages us to love with our body, mind and spirit. (Matthew 22:34-40)
-Â Relationships. Since we are a Temple of the living God, we need to avoid becoming matched with unbelievers. This doesn’t mean become separate from the world, but rather to not live our lives according to the worldview of an unbeliever. (2 Corinthians 6:14-7:1)
